QR Master support
A customizable QR code generator for iPhone and iPad: free, no account, works offline.
What is QR Master
With QR Master you create QR codes for a web address, a text, a Wi-Fi network, a SEPA bank transfer and more, choose colors and a logo, check that the code scans well, and export it to print or share.
Everything happens on your iPhone or iPad: no sign-up, no internet connection, no data collected.

Frequently asked questions
Does the code stop working after a while?
No. QR Master codes are static: the content is inside the code itself, with no server, subscription or short link that could expire. The code scans as long as it is printed or displayed legibly. If it contains a web address, that page of course has to still exist.
The readability check says "Does not scan": what do I do?
Move back towards the standard style one step at a time: a dark color for the code on a light background, with good contrast (several older scanners do not recognize light codes on a dark background), square modules, a white margin around the code, a logo no larger than about a fifth of the side. If needed, make the code bigger. After every change the check tells you straight away whether the code scans.
Where are the codes I saved?
In the app's library, on your iPhone or iPad. They are not synced with iCloud and do not go through any server: if you uninstall the app they are erased, so export the ones you want to keep first.
How do I print the code at the right size?
Export it as PDF or SVG: they are vector formats and stay sharp at any size. Print it at least at the minimum side the app recommends, white margin included, and do not trim that margin.
Do I need an internet connection or an account?
No. QR Master works entirely offline and does not ask you to sign up.
Why does the app ask for access to Photos?
Only when you choose Save Image: iOS asks for permission to add the code to your Photos library. The app does not read your photos; to import a logo it uses the system picker, which hands it only the image you chose.
