Privacy policy for QR Master
A customizable QR code generator for iPhone and iPad: free, no account, works offline.
This is a translation of the informativa privacy in Italian; if the two differ, the Italian version prevails.
No data collected
QR Master does not collect any personal data: it does not record, store with me or transmit anything you do in the app. There are no accounts and no sign-up: you use the app without giving your name, email or anything else.
No network connection
The app does not connect to the internet: it does not contact any server, mine or anyone else's.
The QR codes it creates are static: the content (an address, a text, bank transfer details…) is written into the pattern of the code itself. They do not go through redirects, short links or outside services, so nobody learns when one of your codes is scanned.
No analytics, tracking or ads
QR Master contains no analytics or tracking tools, shows no ads and includes no third-party SDKs.
What stays on your device
The codes saved in the library, the logos you import and your preferences are kept only on your device, in the app's local storage. They are not synced with iCloud.
They are erased when you delete them in the app, or when you uninstall the app.
What goes into a code
What you type to create a code, for example the IBAN of a SEPA transfer or the name and password of a Wi-Fi network, stays on the device and ends up only in the image of the code. Anyone who sees or photographs that code can read its content: share it only with people who should have it.
Exporting and sharing
A code leaves the app only when you decide, through the iOS share sheet or by saving it to the system's files. You choose where it goes, and from there the privacy policy of the app or service you chose applies.
Permissions
If you choose Save Image, iOS asks for permission to add images to your Photos library: it is used only to save the code. The app does not read your Photos library.
To import a logo the app uses the iOS system picker, which hands it only the image you choose.
App Store and Apple
Downloads and updates go through the App Store, run by Apple under its own privacy policy. The device analytics that iOS may send to Apple depend on your settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements), not on the app.

You keep the rights granted by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
This policy covers only the app. For the angelosasso.it website, the website privacy policy applies.
